What you'll learn
Tailoring the Programme to your Needs - What You’ll Learn
You’ll learn the fundamental processes of the education and childcare sector. Throughout the course, we’ll assess your needs, identifying gaps in learning, so that at the end of your programme, you’ll have the skills and confidence to succeed on the Education & Childcare T Level.
To study on the T Level Transition Programme and Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner, you must have achieved five GCSEs at grade 3 and above, including maths and English. You will need to have good attendance in your current school/educational setting and you will also need to be motivated, willing and have a desire to work with children, learning about how they develop, learn and grow.
At the start of the course, we will carry out a variety of tasks to see how you like to learn and what areas you are already knowledgeable in. We will use this information to inform our lessons, to ensure they are delivered to suit your learning needs.
How will I be assessed?
You will be required to complete a variety of assessments including assignment writing, portfolio building, and reflective accounts to evidence your knowledge of the Early Years Practitioner role.
You will also be required to submit various pieces of work to evidence your skills in an early years setting to show that you can put your knowledge in to practice! Your course tutor will help and support you every step of the way
Successful completion of this programme will allow you to progress directly on to the Education & Childcare T Level, a qualification that will prepare you for employment and a dynamic career.
