    Anyone who wants to develop parenting and life skills would benefit from the course. The course is designed to stimulate interest and encourage your understanding of the skills required to care for children.
  • What you'll learn

    To complete the diploma learners must achieve a minimum of 37 credits.

    Units include: safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, Craft activities for young children, human growth and development and respecting and valuing children.
  • Entry requirements

    You will need 4 GCSE's grades 9-2 (A-E) including Maths and English Language.
  • How will I be assessed?

    All learners will complete an Individual Learning Plan which will be discussed with their personal tutor throughout the course.You will be assessed by your tutor in college and assessor in the workplace using a range of methods. This could include tasks set by CACHE such as designing charts or leaflets, coursework or methods such as oral questioning.
