Skills for Independence

Our Skills for Independence courses provide an opportunity for learners with various learning difficulties and disabilities to progress their left experience, confidence and maths and English skills. We help our learners achieve this through further learning, developing independence and completing work experience.


Our programmes provide a range of opportunities to personalise progression for our learners to the next level. The programmes focus on developing employability skills ,independence, maths and English, and enterprise skills, with Enterprise Week' and competitions running throughout the year.


Embedded in the programmes are vocational tasters, enrichment activities and a work experience placement.
