Bolton College opened its state-of-the-art STEM Centre in October 2014. The Centre – furnished with the latest technology and industry-standard equipment – stands at the heart of Bolton’s vibrant town centre, next to the College’s £70 million Deane Road campus.

STEM focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, and the Centre focuses on these core subjects, all of which create a key strand of the Bolton Education Strategy.

The STEM Centre provides greater educational choice and progression pathways, boosts Apprenticeship and employment opportunities for young people, and acts as a catalyst for collaboration and enterprise.

STEM careers are highly sought-after by employers – both locally and nationally – and can be well-paid. Choosing to study a STEM qualification at Bolton College could lead you to an Apprenticeship or employment in one of many sector-specific jobs including:
