Apprenticeships allow you to earn a wage whilst learning in the workplace, giving you a nationally recognised qualification to get you closer to the future of your dreams. Once you’ve expressed an interest in an Apprenticeship with Bolton College, we’ll be in touch to ensure that you’re applying for Apprenticeships that are the right fit for you. You can also stay up to speed with all of our latest vacancies on our Apprenticeship vacancies page here – click to view.
With an Apprenticeship, you’re applying for a job as well as a College course, therefore you’ll need to ensure your CV helps you stand out from the crowd, and that you’re well prepared for your interview. Bolton College can help you to write a winning CV, covering letter and help you perform amazingly well at an interview.
This all depends on the Apprenticeship Level you want to apply for and your existing qualifications. For many intermediate Apprenticeships, you may not need any formal qualifications at all. Employers may ask that you have a GCSE in Maths and English however, don’t worry if you don't! We can support you in gaining these alongside your Apprenticeship programme.
We can recommend you to any of our employers that we think match your skills and the role you are looking for. You can browse and apply for our vacancies online too at www.boltoncollege.ac.uk/apprenticeship-vacancies
We’ll support you in finding and approaching employers yourself too. Click here to learn more.
There are many start dates throughout the year for our Apprenticeships, so you may be able to join at any point in the year. As an example, if you find an employer in December, you can start your Apprenticeship programme straight away and we’ll arrange a College start date for you.
