Stained Glass Workshop

These courses are designed to allow learners at a range of different levels to practice and develop their skills and are suitable for anyone with the desire to make something beautiful.

You will cover:
- Tiffany style pieces such as sun catchers and lampshades
- Traditional leaded lights, windows or door panels
- Glass painting
- Kiln fired colours to fire the imagination.

Just enthusiasm!

You will be asked about you experience and about what you hope to achieve on the course in the first session so your tutor will be able to understand where you are starting from. Your tutor will photograph your work regularly and will give you verbal and written feedback about how you are doing. You will be able to discuss your work with the tutor and the group in the sessions and the tutor will regularly ask you about how you feel you are progressing.

All the tools and equipment you need are supplied but you will need to order your own glass. We recommend a variety pack costing around ?15 to get you started and your Tutor will explain more about this in your first class.

Assessment

All learners will complete an individual learning plan which will be discussed with their tutor throughout the course.

Studying at College

You must do the work set during these times or it will impact your progress on the course and therefore your achievement.
