    - TDA 2.2 Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
    - CL2A2 Young children's development
    - CL2A9 Importance of play for early learning
    - CFC 10 Children's play and leisure activities in the community
    - NH/L203 Use food and nutrition information to plan a healthy diet

    Level 1 Functional Skills in English or willingness to work towards.
  • How will I be assessed?

    You will be assessed through a variety of assessments including assignments and project work. You will be required to access resources and assessment materials via the college virtual learning environment and to upload your work online.

    This course is delivered face to face at our Deane Road Campus. You will also be required to access resources online in your own time to complete home study tasks and assessments.

    Assessment


    All learners will complete an individual learning plan which will be discussed with their tutor throughout the course.

    Financial


    You may not have to pay tuition fees at all, if you fall into one of the groups eligible for fee exemptions. If you feel you may be eligible or would like someone to explain course fees in more detail, pleasecontact us via our Live Chat service available on any page of our website.

    Adult Learners


    Adult learners (19+) must provide evidence of their existing qualification at enrolment. Learners may not be able to enrol if this information is not provided when requested. If you have lost any certificates please contact your school in the first instance. If they are unable to provide a copy, you can contact one of the following exam boards (your school will be able to tell you which one applies to the exams you took):
