    Opportunities in the UK’s media, broadcast and production industry are at record levels, with the spend for film and high-end productions in 2021 totalling 5.64 billion! This means a media, broadcast and production qualification will open up a range of opportunities,
    giving you the practical and technical skills to excel in this inspiring and exciting sector.

    This T Level, equivalent to three A Levels, will give you the skills for success in the innovative world of media, broadcast and production, preparing you for further study at university, or giving you the qualification to begin a creative and rewarding career.

    You shouldn’t have difficulty finding work either! You’ll spend 20% of your time on an Industry Placement, giving you vital experience in the world of work and a CV to wow future employers.

    You’ll then focus on your occupational specialism: Content Creation & Production.
  • Entry requirements

    • A minimum of 5 GCSEs, graded 9-4, including English and Maths
    • Art GCSE or Level 2 equivalent
  • How will I be assessed?

    You’ll be assessed via a mixture of assignments, employer-set projects and exam(s).
  • Future opportunities

    The sole purpose of a T Level is to prepare you for employment and a dynamic career.

    You could work as a:
    • Video Editor, earning up to £45,000 per year
    • Broadcast Engineer, earning up to £50,000 per year
    • Audio Visual Technician, earning up to £35,000 per year

    As the T Level is equivalent to three A Levels, you could even decide to progress to university or a paid Apprenticeship, if you choose.
