IT Organisational Support Extended Diploma Level 3

This course is a specialist, work-related qualification in Computing. The programme will fully prepare you for further specialised study or a career in a computer related field such as digital technology solutions, IT management for business, computer networks security or business computing and entrepreneurship.

Engagement with employers is also an integral part of this programme – we will seek to ensure that you have opportunities to gain real-world experience of your chosen sector.

Elements of study
Your programme consists of the following elements:
• Study of your chosen vocational subject - 50% of your programme
• Employability skills, such as punctuality, attendance, communication and team work
• Work experience or an Industry Placement, giving you a taste of working life
• Tutorial and personal development, such as healthy living, volunteering and citizenship skills

• A minimum of 4 GCSEs, graded 9-4, including English or Maths

You will be assessed by practical activities, observations, assignments and exams.

Following further study you could work as a:
• Computer Games Developer, earning up to £59,000 per year
• Social Media Manager, earning up to £75,000 per year
• Web Developer, earning up to £50,000 per year
