The Centre, which is part of the University of Bolton Group, looks after children aged from six weeks to five years of age.
Following last month’s inspection, Ofsted graded the Centre ‘good’ in every category: Quality of Education; Behaviour & Attitudes; Personal Development; and Leadership & Management.
Parents and carers reported that ‘they could not ask for a better nursery’ and they praised staff for ‘being caring and getting to know their children as individuals, helping them to ‘thrive’.’
The report also highlighted the fact that ‘leaders are dedicated in providing a ‘home-from-home’ environment where children receive ‘quality education and care’.’
The Centre, located at Bolton College’s main Deane Road Campus, is open to children from across the town irrespective of whether their parent or carer studies at the College.
Audrey West, Manager of Bolton College’s Early Years & Pre-School Centre, said: “We are so proud to yet again be recognised as a good childcare provider by Ofsted.
“Each child deserves the very best start in life and support that enables them to fulfill their potential.
“I would like to thank our staff for their commitment and dedication, as well as our parents and carers who work in partnership with us to help their children to flourish.”
Bill Webster, Principal of Bolton College, added: “Ofsted’s findings highlight the quality of provision our wonderful Early Years & Pre-School Centre provides, a place where children feel safe, valued, happy and secure.
“Our fantastic nursery manager and her team have created a nurturing environment where children from all backgrounds can excel.
“I am delighted that the quality education and caring environment we provide has been recognised.”
