Spanish Beginners Term 3

This course is ideal if you would like to gain an elementary knowledge of the Spanish language and culture, and the ability to meet your basic communicative needs on a visit to Spanish speaking countries.
We use many facilities, including interactive whiteboards and virtual learning environment, online resources, etc.
Highly qualified teachers that will help you to embrace the language experience and to engage in social and cultural events.

You will learn basic sentence structures and vocabulary to help you communicate simple messages in everyday situations such as: meeting people, exchanging personal information, shopping for food and clothes, going to a restaurant, travelling and accommodation, tourist and medical enquiries.

Enthusiasm and commitment.
No prior knowledge of Spanish required.
An A4 file, dividers, writing papers and pens.

Continuous assessment by role-plays and listening tasks in class and written homework.
There is no exam.

You will need at least 1hour self-study a week, to learn enough to get by on a visit to Spanish speaking countries.

Assessment

All learners will complete an individual learning plan which will be discussed with their tutor throughout the course.

Studying at College
